The Big Day: Saturday at Camp Elsewhere
A Shoreline Sendoff: Sunday check-out of your accommodation and head over to my Aunt Betsy and Uncle Jeff’s Shorewood Lodge to enjoy brunch and hang out by the water.
Weekend Accommodations: Camp Elsewhere, Waupaca, WI
All Weekend: beaches, stand-up paddle boards, canoes, swimming, and campfires.
Friday, June 5th Itinerary

Arrive anytime during this window and leave your gear in the main hall. Enjoy the afternoon hiking, exploring, or eating in town. Parking is available on-site.

Your lodging info will be emailed ahead of time, and a map with details will be posted near the main hall. Not sure of your cabin code? Just ask the camp staff! Lodging officially opens at 2:00 PM, but some cabins may be ready a bit earlier.

Join us outside the main hall for some friendly yard games. Bring your own drinks. Sip, mingle, and play before dinner.

Wedding party, grab a drink and join us at the chapel to run through the rehearsal.

The Dough Truck is rolling in! Grab a slice (or two) of pizza and enjoy it in the event tent.

Scary movies, poker, and games in the Rec Hall. Come for the scares, stay for the laughs (and maybe a little friendly gambling).
Saturday, June 6th Itinerary

Join us in the main hall for a delicious breakfast buffet hosted by Camp Elsewhere! For $15 per person (pay us ahead of time), fuel up with morning favorites, sip some coffee, and celebrate together as we continue the wedding day fun. Food includes: Scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, hashbrown wedges, fresh whole fruit, cereal, toast/english muffin/bagel, coffee, tea and juices.

Start your day on the water! Join the bride and groom at 9:00 AM at the beach for a peaceful canoe ride and morning laughs together.

Bring your own food and fire up the charcoal grills around camp! We’ll provide plates, charcoal, condiments, and burger flippers. Store extras in your room fridge. Grill, eat, and celebrate with us in true glamping style!

The photographer will be arriving at 1:30 PM. You don’t have to be fully wedding-ready yet, just “comfortable being candidly photographed” ready.

Time to get fancy and stretch your legs! We’ll gather at 3:40 PM for a stylish stroll to the ceremony over the bridge and through the woods. Rain location: Chapel. Be seated by 3:45 PM.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for! Join Kyla and Brian as they exchange vows, celebrate love, and start their happily ever after together.

It’s cocktail o’clock! Meet us outside the main hall at 4:30 PM for drinks, bites, and plenty of laughter. Toast to the happy couple and enjoy some pre-dinner fun!

Gather ‘round! At 4:45 PM, we’ll take some family photos to capture these special moments. Smile, laugh, and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime!

The feast begins! At 5:40 PM, join us in the main hall, find your seat, and get ready to enjoy a delicious dinner while celebrating Brian and Kyla. Plates are coming, laughter is guaranteed, and memories are waiting to be made!

Last call is at 11:30 PM, the final pour is at 11:45 PM, and the bar closes at midnight!
Sunday, June 7 Itinerary

Brunch: Starts at 10am
It’s time to say a fond farewell to Camp Elsewhere! To make the most of our final morning, please pack up and check out of your rooms by 11:00 AM.
We recommend clearing your room early so you can head straight over to Shorewood Lodge starting at 10:00 AM for brunch and a full day on the water. No need to rush back once the fun begins!

Start the day with a lakeside brunch and a final "choose your own adventure" on the water! Whether you’re looking for a high-speed thrill or a quiet spot in the sun, there’s a place for you:
Fuel: A delicious farewell brunch to kick things off.
Thrill: Water Skiing & Tubing.
Explore: Kayaking & Paddleboarding.
Play: Water Volleyball & Swimming.
Chill: Boat Rides & Sunbathing.
If would like to take the Jet Skis out for a spin, please remember to bring your boating license, as it is required to operate them.
Kyla’s Aunt Betsy and Aunt Martha will be the ones behind the wheel of the boats today... consider yourselves warned!

The party doesn’t have a curfew… technically. Leave whenever you like or when Aunt Betsy waves the white flag and declares she’s done with us! Either way, thanks for celebrating, dancing, and laughing with us. we loved having you there.
Who is paying for what?
Weekend
You (our wonderful guests!) will take care of your own accommodations. Please book your room through Kyla & Brian. We’ve reserved the entire camp and will be master-level Tetris-ing everyone into cozy spaces.
Friday
Kyla & Brian are hosting woodfire pizzas and lemonade at dinner to kick off the weekend. We’ll have a cash bar as well, but feel free to bring your own beer or favorite drinks if you’d like something special (Remember, no personal alcoholic drinks in any camp buildings - including the event tent).
Saturday
A breakfast buffet is available onsite for $15 per person, or you’re welcome to head into town - see the Around Waupaca tab for ideas.
For lunch, we invite guests to bring something to throw on the grill at camp or explore restaurants in town.
Kyla & Brian are hosting dinner after the ceremony and will have some drinks available: beer, wine, cocktails, but bring cash for when ours runs out!

After checkout, Aunt Betsy is generously hosting brunch at her place, the Shorewood Lodge.
